Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This policy explains Core previews and payments, AI-service demos, monthly or yearly renewals, cancellations, refund review, and billing corrections.

1. Preview, Demo, and Activation Charges

No payment method is required and no automatic charge is made for an approved Core homepage concept or limited preview.

No payment method is required and no automatic charge is made for an approved Engage or Autopilot demo or setup.

Paid service begins only after the customer reviews the applicable billing and policy disclosures, affirmatively accepts the checkout terms, and voluntarily completes a separate payment checkout.

2. One-Time Core Website Payments

Core payments cover approved project work, configuration, design, copy, implementation, and delivery. For an initial yearly Autopilot order, the annual payment includes the one Core website build shown at checkout.

Refund requests are evaluated based on the approved scope, work completed, deliverables supplied, client approvals, delivery records, and non-refundable external costs.

After substantial work has begun, amounts attributable to completed work and committed non-refundable costs are generally non-refundable.

After final approval, full payment, launch, administrative handover, DNS access, source transfer, or delivery of the completed website, the Core payment or website portion of the applicable order is generally non-refundable except where required by law, Dean Studio cannot materially provide the purchased service, or a confirmed billing error occurred.

3. Subscription Renewals and Cancellations

Engage and Autopilot renew at the monthly or yearly interval selected at checkout until cancelled.

Cancelling prevents the next renewal but does not automatically refund or shorten the current paid service period.

Monthly fees are generally non-refundable after the monthly service period has begun.

Yearly fees are generally non-refundable after the annual service period has begun, and cancellation during that term does not create a prorated or partial refund, except where required by law or where a confirmed billing error occurred.

Ending Engage removes or disables the managed chatbot and complete booking components at the end of the paid term, but cancellation alone does not remove the recreated non-AI website or its basic email-delivered contact form.

4. Domain Charges and Billing Corrections

A standard $50 annual domain charge is generally non-refundable after the domain has been registered or renewed because the external registration or renewal cost has been committed, except where required by law or a confirmed billing error occurred.

Dean Studio may provide a refund or billing correction where a duplicate charge occurred, an incorrect amount was charged, an unauthorized payment is confirmed, required billing or renewal disclosures were not supplied before payment, Dean Studio cannot materially provide the purchased service, or a refund is required by applicable law.

External charges may be non-refundable where the applicable provider does not issue a refund.

A chargeback, bank dispute, PayPal claim, or payment reversal does not itself determine whether a contractual amount was owed. Dean Studio may provide checkout, approval, payment, delivery, domain, and source-transfer records to the applicable provider or financial institution.

5. How to Request Help

Customers may manage future PayPal subscription renewals through PayPal or contact contact@bydeanstudio.com for billing, cancellation, domain, source-transfer, or refund assistance.

Dean Studio aims to acknowledge billing requests within two business days. Include the business name, payer email, transaction identifier, affected service, and a concise description of the issue.
